We have a dangerous jellyfish from Okinawa.

Blue Corner Magazine

This week we have a jellyfish from our fisherman in Okinawa, which is southern part of Japan. The jellyfish name is Habu-kurage (Box Jellyfish, scientific name is Chironex yamaguchii.) It’s very dangerous jellyfish because the jellyfish have venomous stings at the tentacles. When we handle with the jellyfish, we pay attention fully to avoid touching. If you see the jellyfish in wild, please watch out.
